Amarillo-Specific Things Worth Knowing
Amarillo is one of the windiest cities in the country - not just in Texas. Consistently ranked in the top five nationally for average wind speed. Spring wind season is the worst but there is no calm season in Amarillo. Wind is the single biggest ongoing source of hardware stress here that other Texas cities don't deal with at the same level.
